"The Vintage n°1"

  • Dimensions: 3.2 cm high X 1.5 cm wide

  • Natural materials offered: Cow horn, buffalo horn, bones, boxwood and deer antlers

  • Tips: pointed, very pointed, rounded

  • Available thicknesses: 1 / 1.5 / 2 / 2.5 & 3 mm 

This form was the most used in the 19th century and illustrates most methods of play in France and abroad. This pick was the first to be mass-produced by the Vosges violin-making workshops and was a standard for several decades.

All our picks are handmade in our workshop in Bélesta in Ariège.
